IndoorComfortKit

Trust notes

Security and Local Processing

IndoorComfortKit is built as a small static site with browser-based calculators. The tools are meant to help readers decide what to measure next, not to collect household records.

Calculator input handling

  • Calculator inputs run in the browser.
  • The site does not require login or an account.
  • The site does not store room temperature, humidity, room area, dampness choices, or equipment estimates on an IndoorComfortKit server.
  • Current calculators do not use server uploads, comments, user profiles, or account-based household projects.

Portable room records

The room comparison reads a selected CSV locally, validates a maximum of two reading rows and recalculates dew point from the inputs. A preview asks you to confirm before replacing current page readings. File inputs are not independently verified measurements; example inputs remain identified as examples.

Next reading asks for confirmation before moving the current inputs into the earlier-reading position and clearing the new inputs. It replaces the previous pair on the page; it does not append to a history or overwrite a downloaded file. Download the existing pair first to keep it. Unknown times and observation context remain unrecorded, and example inputs keep their example label.

CSV downloads and printed or PDF records remain on your device, not in a site account. There is no automatic browser-storage history. Closing or refreshing the page clears temporary readings but does not delete downloaded files. Read the Privacy Policy for the separate hosting and advertising data practices. Ad placement safety

Advertising should support the page instead of interrupting the tool. Ads should not be placed inside calculator forms, result cards, warning text, reset buttons, navigation, or any control a reader needs to complete a calculation.

If automatic ads are enabled after approval, calculator pages should be reviewed to make sure ads appear around publisher content and not inside the measurement workflow.

Pages to keep ad-free or ad-light

Legal, contact, navigation, and review-note pages should stay focused on trust and site operation. If automatic ads are enabled, these pages should be excluded first or reviewed manually before any ad appears.

Estimate limits

Calculator results are planning estimates. They are not inspection findings, medical advice, HVAC engineering design, electrical approval, building code approval, or safety certification.

For active water, damaged material, unusual electrical conditions, large moisture problems, installation questions, or health concerns, use qualified help and local guidance. IndoorComfortKit readings can be useful notes, but they do not replace direct evaluation.
